CASSINI 412: WHEN A MOMENT MAKES HISTORY
Inspired by the interplanetary Cassini-Huygens mission, the new AB AETERNO chronograph takes its name from the achievement of the impossible, 04:12 (GMT), the 1st of July 2004, when, after seven years of navigation, Cassini became the first probe to enter into Saturn’s orbit. The special CASSINI 412 model celebrates this important scientific success, a design that is lightweight yet durable, the same necessary characteristics of materials used in space. The dial is composed of two chronographic counters at 12 (60 seconds) and at 6 (60 minutes). A high precision drawing of Saturn’s profile embellishes the quadrant and an internal bezel recalls the mission’s main stops.
